According to SPOTVNEWs, Hwang was cast in tvNŌĆÖs new series Return (literal title), penned by the famous Hong Sisters. Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran) are among KoreaŌĆÖs best romance writers. So far, they have created numerous hit TV series, such as YouŌĆÖre Beautiful, My Girlfriend Is a Nine-Tailed Fox, The Greatest Love, MasterŌĆÖs Sun, A Korean Odyssey, and Hotel Del Luna. Return will be the sistersŌĆÖ comeback project in about two years since Hotel Del Luna. This new historical fantasy romance will center around young sorcerers who read the universe and its energy. Last year, Hwang Minhyun made his grand acting debut with Live On, receiving recognition for his stable performance. The artist will be showing a whole new side of him through Return, establishing himself as the lead actor. Meanwhile, NUŌĆÖEST made their comeback with Romanticize on the 19th. After successfully wrapping up his NUŌĆÖEST promotions, he will prepare for his return as an actor. Return was programmed as tvNŌĆÖs series to premiere in the latter half of this year. LetŌĆÖs Eat, Because This Is My First Life, and WhatŌĆÖs Wrong with Secretary Kim director Park Jun Hwa was tapped as the main producer.
