KoreaŌĆÖs first-ever space SF blockbuster Space Sweepers, which will be released on Netflix on February 5, is about the crew of space junk collector ship The Victory jumping into a dangerous deal after discovering a humanoid robot named Dorothy thatŌĆÖs known to be a weapon of mass destruction.

The new still photos unveiled on the 18th show the crew of the Victory with different personalities and the universe. After leaving the irreversible desertification of the Earth, The Victory crew sets off to space to make a living out of cleaning up space waste. In front of them, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to clear their struggling life shows up when they happen to come across the humanoid robot ŌĆ£DorothyŌĆØ that the whole universe is looking for. The crew raises their expectations to jab out debt from their lives and live a glorious life, but like always, things never go as planned. The Victory crew membersŌĆÖ surprised expression and confrontation against the masked assailants add curiosity about the dangerous path they have chosen. The photos also give us a glimpse into The VictoryŌĆÖs daily life. Director Cho Seung Hee, who has created a whole new worldview for each work with his unique imagination, goes into space this time and unfolds an original world. Director Cho and his staff completed a new storytelling by creating an Earth that you cannot live without oxygen masks, a paradise in space where only a selected few can live, and a rest of the space area where non-citizens and workers roam around. The clear difference between the beautiful space paradise UTS where only the chosen ones live and the crude and dirty space area where space workers like The Victory crew live will be exciting. Director Cho shared, ŌĆ£ItŌĆÖs a world where there are two distinct classes, but The Victory crew donŌĆÖt divide people by classes and protect the value of ŌĆśtogetherŌĆÖ that means everyone is precious. I also wanted to show that harmony is the true ŌĆśvictory.‘ŌĆØ ┬Ā Source: Netflix
