Moving On tells the story of two siblings Okju and Dongju moving into their grandpaŌĆÖs house during their summer vacation after their father goes broke. ŌĆ£With her directorial debut, director Yoon Dan Bi showed such masterful restraint with beautiful, lively and sincere details. The film felt very personal to the filmmaker and also to those of us watching it,ŌĆØ said the judges of NYAFF. Microhabitat (2018), directed by Jeon Go Woon, took home the award at the 17th NYAFF. Moving On was the only Korean film to advance to the main competition this year. Secret Zoo, Lucky Chan-sil, Baseball Girl, Kim Ji-young, Born 1982, ĀBeasts Clawing at Straws, Forbidden Dream, and Beauty Water were screened virtually for the festival. Source (1)
